This image was taken at 6am one October morning whilst on assignment for my coffee table book ‘Espagne’. These metal billboards are amazingly easy to see from the highway however, photographing them safely off the high speed motorways is another matter. I can’t thank Toyota enough for their Land cruiser!

Costa de la Luz, Andalucia
Literally the “Coast of the light” – what better location could a photographer choose? In photography, light is the magical key to capturing images. It’s that alluring ingredient. The intrinsic, unspoilt beauty of the Costa de la Luz naturally lends itself to photographic reportage. This silhouette of a couple riding into the light, spells freedom.
Spain – 100,000 stock images and the library is still growing!
Over the last 15 years, Michelle Chaplow has created a specialist collection of images on Spain. The library of stock photography began life in the age of ‘the slide’ as the Andalucia Slide Library and now the collection extends to the whole of mainland Spain, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands. Continuous travel around Spain brings a constant flow of new and vibrant photographic images to the collection. Our location in Spain gives us the advantage of an in-depth knowledge of the Iberian peninsula and we are often able to meet the more obscure stock photography requests through our network of individual specialist photographers.
