One of the may things that impacted me in Vietnam was how hard the women work in the fields, attending the buffalos, looking after the children. I dedicate this image to the hard working women of the world with vibrant smiles.

I spent a year backpacking in South and Central America, this image of an indigenous lady in La Antigua de Guatemala is one of the many photographic portraits that I shot during that year.

Her travels in Latin America are, without doubt, what inspired her to embark upon a career as a travel photographer and relocate to Spain. Since then Michelle Chaplow’s work has been published worldwide and has taken her to Malta, Madeira, Morocco, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Scotland, America, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Oman, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines and Hong Kong.
